Does it sound natural?

Question: What do you do in the morning?

Answer: Besides some trivial tasks like getting up and stuff, I usually try to make a list of things to do in the morning to have a guideline for my day. I also like to journal in English because it is one of the best ways to clear my mind and also improve my writing skills. It actually kills two birds with one stone.
