Does it sound natural

(In the morning, a mother says to her son.)
Mother: Take this bag with you. #1 Your lunch is in it./ #2 There is your lunch in it./ #3 It has your lunch in it.
Son: Thanks, mom.

(A few hours later, the son opens the bag.)
Son: Oh, my! It's totally empty. I guess mom made some kind of mistake.

I made a short story like this, but I'm not sure if it sounds natural.

Q1 Which of the three items in the mother's line would you choose? Or, is there any other expression that sounds more natural?

Q2 Is there anything else that should be corrected?

Thank you so much, CalifJim.
To be honest, I had no idea regarding your pop quiz. It seemed like some sort of magic spell to me.
