Does it sound natural?

Hi all,
Could you please tell me if I can use this sentence? Would a native speaker say it like this? :

The art lovers will be certainly pleased with several visits to various museums and galleries.

Thank you.

  • 'Yes' to both questions.
  • However, 'be' would more usually be placed after 'certainly'.

This one wouldn't. Too many words for one sentence. I'm assuming you mean literally "say", meaning 'in conversational style', not 'written in tourist brochure style'.

CalifJim,

Thank you, I´m going to use it in a written document so you think it´s possible? I wasn´t sure about the phrase "be pleased with several visits to various museums and galleries".

It's definitely better as a written sentence.

The art lovers will be certainly pleased with several visits to various museums and galleries.

I think you want something like this:

Art lovers will certainly want to visit some of the museums and galleries more than once.

Some of the museums and galleries are so impressive that art lovers will want to visit

Well, I originally meant this:

Art lovers will be pleased that the itinerary of the package tour contains also several visits to various museums and galleries.

Should the article be omitted here - only "art lovers" - as we speak generally about art lovers?

Thank you.

Art lovers will enjoy an itinerary that includes visits to several of the [city's/region's] museums and galleries.

You can say "Art lovers."

You can also say "For the art lovers, we've scheduled visits to several..."
