Does " hinny was bred to a donkey jack" mean "hinny was to have sex with a male donkey"?

Female hinnies and mules are not customarily spayed, and may or may not go through estrus. Female mules have been known to produce offspring when mated to a horse or donkey, though this is extremely uncommon.
