Does "Earthquake' have to be in capital?

The Great Hanshin Earthquake occurred in Japan in January1995.

Does "Earthquake' have to be in capital?

Thanks.

Both styles seem to be used, but in my opinion as "Great" is capitalised, "Earthquake" should be too, since "Great Hanshin" is not a unit of meaning by itself.
