Does "Display track name and playing time in the status bar" sound natural?

I'm talking about displaying the track name and the playing time of songs, like so:

01:15 Beatles - Let It Be

The status bar is the bottom part of a computer software.

I'm wondering if I spelled this correctly:

Display track name and playing time in the status bar

Zoltán KirályThe status bar is at the bottom part of the display. a computer software.

Software is non-count.

"A software" is not good English.

The instructions are ok.
