Does "by myself" add anything to the question below or can it be removed?

A. Do you have any preference on how you would like the website to look or can I build something by myself and later adjust it to your liking?

B. Do you have any preference on how you would like your website to look or can I build something and later adjust it to your liking?

If you were to add it, it would more likely be just 'myself', not 'by myself'. But it doesn't add much of anything in terms of meaning. It only adds a little clarity to the idea that you'll be building the website without guidance from the other person.
