Does "barely" have the meaning of"just now"(or "just")in oral English?

"barely" usually means negative in writing English, but in oral English, in some cases, does it mean "just now"(or "just")? I've seen a lot dialogues like "you barely said that."(according to the context it pretty much seems refering to "you just now said that." ) in some soaps.

Thanks!
