Does anyone know how to different between 1 and 2?

1. "Dracula was last movie when I saw it"
2. "Dracula was last movie I saw"

#2 is possible if you add "the": Dracula was the last movie I saw. " It sounds almost as if there weren't any more movies released after Dracula .

#2 is possible if you add "the":

Dracula was the last movie I saw.

#1 makes very little sense to me even if you include "the." It sounds almost as if there weren't any more movies released after Dracula.
