Does americans having a hard time to comprehend british accent clearly, like i do?

After watching a tons of Hollywood film, I just found out that british accent is tough to comprehend over americans accent for an english learners such as me, or perhaps I'm the only one who do. The fact is, british people likes to drop a lot of letters sound mostly "r" that's one of reason they sound strange to me. However, I prefer to learn that accent anyway, because they're sound sexy for me.

If you find something ungrammatical, particularly on my "word of choice" in this question. it's kind of you to let me know. I'll appreciate it.
