Doctors report to see/ seeing overweight children ....

1. Doctors report seeing overweight children suffering from nutritional dificiency syndrom.

2. Doctors report to see overweight children suffering from nutritional dificiency syndrom.

Sentence 1 is the one I found in my book and I wonder whether we can say like sentence 2 without changing the meaning.
