Vocabulary

docile

Does the word "docile" have negative connotation?

What is good about being a docile(meaning easily influenced, persuaded, or controled) person in school or life?

Thank you

Well I would say it depends on how you look at it. You could say a docile person is very gentle and calm which can be viewed as a positive character. But if you want a person to be strong, charismatic and outgoing, then docile is not a trait you would aspire to.
