Do you understand?

Is there anything to add or change to make it clear?

  • The word in your language is no where close to resembling the word in mine or any other word assocated with the mariage, so there was no way you could deduce what it said.

Hi,

In your language, this word doesn't have the same meaning as it does in mine, so you couldn't really

understand the intended meaning.

Let me explain Alpheccastars,

If a person doesn't speak a language, he or she migh understand a few word that sound similar in their language.

Here the person is talking about mariage in his language, and the foreigner is trying to understand what he's trying to say,

So if the foreigner spoke something using the words:

gizon eta emakume ezkondu, ezkontza, senarra, emaztea, ekitaldia, eliza, zin, lagunak

Then I would not know what subject he is talking about?

That is true, I would not have any idea at all.
