"Do you think so?" and "Don't you think so?"

hi

what is the difference between "Do you think so?" and "Don't you think so?" Actually what is their meaning I'd like to know.

I am not a native English speaker so please don't be surprised to see this question.

By the way, I would like to know how to answer these two questions

how about "Do you think so?"

if I answer "yes, I do", then what does it mean?

and for "Don't you think so?"

if I answer "yes, I do", then what does it mean?

I hope to make myself clear of the concept.

Thank you

"No, I don't" means Yes. Double negatives always is a yes; but few people acknowledge this. I hear it in courtroom all the time, even by the judge.
