Do you see any mistakes?

“How much heat would a laser beam need to be able to slice almost everything instantly like a light saber?”

I’m going to post it on the question-and-answer website. I want it to be specific and grammatically error free. Could you point out the mistakes and correct those?

CalifJimYou may be asked what you mean by "everything". The amount of heat may differ according to the material being sliced.
I don’t want to be asked, as I said I want it to be specific, so I changed it.

“How much heat would a laser beam need in order to slice the softest to the toughest substances in the universe as instant as a light sabers can do?

JexisIs that fine?
Now I think you're adding too much. And I should have mentioned it before: It should be "slice through". Also, I would change "everything" to "anything" and leave it like this:

How much heat would a laser beam need in order to slice through almost anything instantly like a light saber?
