Do you see a clause here?

"What is a beautiful, little woman like yourself doing walking all alone this time of night, in this part of town?" he asked her.

There doesn't need to be commas around "like yourself," does there?

Thanks.

Snarf There doesn't need to be commas around "like yourself," does there? No. In fact, I wouldn’t use any commas in the sentence.

Okay, thanks. I put that comma after "night" because I picture him pausing there.
