In today’s world, many people tend to live in nuclear families rather than in extended ones. From my perspective, I firmly believe that living in an extended family is the better choice owing to the following reasons.

Firstly, living in an extended family means that there are members who are always ready to help you in any situation. For instance, when one of the family members has to face financial problems, everyone can give him a hand to pay off his debt and relieve his anxiety. If a member comes down with flu, the others can provide them with love and wonderful care for them. Additionally, helping family members enhances the relationship between them, leading to a better understanding of each other.

Secondly, in a large family, there will be more members than in a nuclear family, so the children in that family may not feel lonely. For example, when their parents and other adults go to work, siblings go to school, grandparents will take care of and play with children. Children can confide in their family members, gain sympathy; therefore, the relationship becomes stronger and stronger. Moreover, on special occasions, children play with many family members, enjoy the loving atmosphere.

Finally, living in a large family will be easier to show gratitude to grandparents who have brought them up. Unlike nuclear families, grandparents live with their offspring in an extended family so when an emergency or bad situation occurs, their children can provide them with immediate aid.

In conclusion, while many people prefer living in a nuclear family because of its benefits, I strongly believe that living in a large family is the better choice.
