Speech & Pronunciation

Do you often pronounce the letter "L" at the end of words?

I heard people sometimes pronounce without "dark L" (those two Ls at the end of words) like girl becomes girw, kill becomes kiw, ball become "baw". Is it ok to pronounce w instead of Ls? I feel like it easier to pronounce w instead of Ls. Also the word "often" sometimes becomes of-ten not offen.

There are some regional accents where people say "bawl" for "ball" but it's impossible to pronounce "girl" as "girw."

Americans pronounce the ells.

"Often" is pronounced either way. I say "offen". The "t" sound is return of what was a silent letter before 1800. "Off-ten" sounds prissy to me, but that's my problem.
