Hi,



I heard sentence #1 below in an ad. ‘get’ doesn’t sound right to me as it is essentially ‘mind if we get some flowers'. #2 is my version. Which one is better?





1. Do you mind if we stopped and get some flowers



2. Do you mind if we stopped and got some flowers.
