What is the best way to market this? I was thinking of turning it into a script.

Midnight in the Hall of Records...

Members of the ARI, (Anomalous Retrieval and Investigations), a little known branch of the government, venture into an archaeological Incan-like tunnel which leads to what appears to be the Hall of Records...

A romantic comedy.

The best way to market it is to turn it into a script first, and then think about how to market it.

Okay, here's the problem. What does the large paragraph there have to do with "a romantic comedy." What's romantic about it? What's comedic about it?
I don't get a sense of what ARI does. I don't know if these tunnel's are run by ARI or if they're the hall of records from some ancient civilization and I have no idea what happens that might be movie-worthy once they get there.
But even if my imagination runs wild, given what you've written it runs wild into Indiana-Jones-type stuff or government-conspiracy-type stuff, not romantic comedy type stuff.
And the juxtaposition doesn't come off as clever, it comes off as confusing.

Rick - have to agree with Ron. It doesn't sound too much like a romcom. Having read your prose piece/synopsis? on your website (and you might want to look at treatment examples) I woud suggest you consider the soft ****/erotic TV movie/series that plays out on cable. I don't know anything about that industry or writing in that genre, but your story has all the right elements - what motivates the main character to search for Laura back in the past before Pompei gets spewed on by lava and gas, as well as dabbling in the occasional Roman orgy along the way. I mean, a guy whose ***** has the strength of 10 men is going to go far, if you get my drift
