Do you leave / Are you leaving

What's difference between what time do you leave and What time are you leaving?
I know what they mean but i can't explain why they are difference.

If you are asking about a single future departure, there is hardly a difference. ("What time are you leaving" could possibly have more of a nuance that the time of departure is under the addressee's control, but it is not clear cut.)
