Do you know what I mean here?

Does this happen at your house? How would you write this?

When I turn in the bathroom faucet while someone is taking a shower , the shower water gets cold. This happens because the faucet and shower uses the same water supply.

Thank you

Are you turning on the sink's hot water tap, or cold water tap?

I am turning on the hot water, and the shower gets cold. How would you write that. Do I say it uses the same water?

Hello Clive,

Would 'draw water' be correct?
Draw water from the same supply?

Thank you

Yes, although I'd say , , , the same source.
But to my ear, the sentence sounds slightly old-fashioned.
