Jackie Chan is the English name by which this actor is widely known. However, I could see why the reader from China referred to this actor as “Jackie Chen” since the Mandarin name for the actor is Chén Gangsheng.

hi Anonymous,what I know is that there are several names of an actor who is in China,such as stage name and real name ,etc, Jackie Chan's Chinese real name is Chén Gangsheng or Chan Kong-sang sourced in his birthplace Hongkong. Chen Long is his stage name, in tradition Chinese custom most of Chinese artors would have a stage name for his performance.

This is really interesting! Even though I like to watch Jackie Chan movies - favourite one is Rush Hour, I never knew that Jackie Chan was his screen name.
