Do you know and Did you know?

I just heard someone say " Did you know I'm going to be a pro gamer?"
But I think it should be "Do you know I'm going to be a pro gamer?" Or
"Did you know I was going to be a pro gamer?"

Which one is better to use?

In the context above, because the career goal is in the future, "Do you..." is syntactically more logi

'Did you know I was going to be a pro gamer?' allows the possibility that the speaker is no longer going to be a pro gamer.

'Did/Do you know I am going to be a pro gamer?' does not allow that negative possibility. The speaker is going to be a pro gamer. There is little practical difference in meaning between the two forms.
