Do you have lessons

A lesson, we as students ATTEND, GO TO, HAVE, TAKE, but TAKE can also be used by a teacher who teaches a lesson in somebody's place.

context: I see a teacher who is also a friend of mine on campus, and in greeting I want to ask him whether at this time he has any lesson to teach; can I say?:

Do you have any lessons?

I'm not sure because it seems OK only when directed to a classmate. Could you help me?

In my experience, both students and teachers talk about classes rather than about lessons. eg Do you have a class? eg Do you have to teach a class?

Is the above -Do you have a class? for students only?

No, it could be said to a teacher as well. The context will usually make the meaning clear..
