Do you have any ideas on how to improve your English?

I’m going to talk about things that I can do to improve my English.

One of my hobbies is reading, and I choose English books or blog posts to read in order to improve both my vocabulary and grammar. I read about English news, fashion, idols, all of them helps me to gain a lot of new words as well as general knowledge.

Besides, I never lose my interest in learning English because I know how to combine studying, entertaining. Instead of learning by hearts all the new words in boredom, I listen to English songs, watch English movies or any video on Youtube and try to translate the lyrics as well as the subtitle. By doing that, I know more about the different and the same things between English and Vietnamese, and it helps me to use English properly in each certain situation.

Furthermore, writing every day has some amazing benefits. I'm just talking about writing a few thoughts or a few ideas down. It only has to take a few minutes, and nobody ever has to see it. It's just for me. So there are a few reasons why writing every day is an excellent habit to get into. It helps my vocabulary to stick. Writing is one of the best ways to recall new words and expressions that I've come across. As I am reading or watching TV shows or books, I come across new ideas and words and I write them down but then I start to use them myself.

I feel that I have made more positive changes since I had my very own ways to learn English, and that is the reason why I think each of us should be creative in learning it.
