Do you get MRI prescribed?

Is prescribed right verb?

What kind of MRI were you prescribed? Was it an MRI of the lungs or kidneys?

Hi, I wouldn't say 'prescribe' is wrong. But I would more naturally say eg What kind of MRI did the doctor tell you to get? eg What kind of MRI did the doctor recommend / order?
