Do you comply?

What does the last line of the following paragraph is referring to? What is complied there? All the previous sentences are themselves questions. There is no fact that can be questioned about in "Do you comply?".

...Can you lose yourself in the zone? Is it possible to pass through the zone unnoticed? Do you belong in the zone? Do
you believe in the zone? If you don’t believe in the zone, what do you believe? Are you saying the zone doesn’t exist? Do you mean to say you have never heard of the zone? Do you have permission for entry and exit to the zone? Do you know the rules? Have you any idea of the full extent of the zone? Are you a trespasser? Can you trespass unknowingly? Do you find the zone threatening, or do you find it a source of strength? Do you feel afraid?
Do you comply?
We comply.

Hi In every area of a city, there are rules. Sometimes they are very explicit: you cannot park here Sometimes the rules may be subtle: we treat everyone with respect here - if you do not, you are not welcome here It can be confusing because we may not be sure when we have moved out of one area into another As you walk from one area of a city to another, you may or may not be aware of the rules. In most cases, we do understand the rules and keep to them.

@dave_anon So, does "do you comply?" in this context mean:

1. Do you agree with what I said?

or

2. Do you respect and obey the rules?

or

3. DO not you have any problem with what said?

Hi

I think it is the second of those. When we walk through a public area, we instinctively understand and comply with the rules there

Sometimes, as you walk around, you might disagree with what people say, but that's different. You might argue with what people say but, at the same time, you can respect the area or district that they live in

dave_anon I think it might be a complimentary question about all other previous questions. like the following example:

_are you a student? Do you love reading science-fiction? are you interested in super heroes?
_yeah?
_yeah!

I think "do you comply?" may be like "yeah?" here. Can it be this way too?

Hi

I've not heard the word used in that way. I would say that it means obeying an authority or, out of politeness, observing the rules of others

You are using it there to show that two people, on an equal footing, agree or share common interests

At the moment, I'd say no. 'Comply' doesn't sound right there.

Hi

I checked with my daughter and, no, we don't know of a colloquial way of using comply like that. We both think it means to obey or conform
