Hi If there are many of them - over the cheeks, say - but the skin remains flat, then they are probably freckles. They are just a slightly darker colouring, in tiny patches, under the skin If it is just one or two, usually darker, and they rise slightly above the level of the skin then that is probably a mole Dave

If it is just one or two, usually darker, and they rise slightly above the level of the skin then that is probably a mole
