Do you americans understand

In American a bathroom always contains a shower and a toilet right? In some countries, the toilet is in a room of its own.

Is this correct sentence?

I prefer when the toilet is in the bathroom and not separate. I hate it when the toilet is in a room of its own.

Thanks

Your very first sentence: 'In America...' It is difficult to punctuate this properly because its form is normally spoken. So, there should be a period after toilet and then have another separate entity. "...toilet. Right?"

I would personally just use a comma there: "In America a bathroom always contains a shower and a toilet, right?"
