Do we repent our sin or repent of our sin?

If either is acceptably correct, what is the difference in meaning between them?

I have seen a lot of examples saying "repent of". However I also see some say "repent" without the following "of".

I have even seen "repent from". For example, "repent FROM breaking laws"

There is none.

Much less common. I suggest you include "of".

Very, very rare. I recommend you avoid it.
