Do we need "the" ariticle?

Hi,
In the sentence, do we need to add "the"? "Do you and someone take "the" same class besides English?" I sometimes don't hear people say it. Maybe it is because they speak very fast. Is there any better way to ask this question if it is not common to ask in the way?

Thanks,

I don't understand what you mean by "you and someone". I think you're trying to say this: Do you two take any other classes together besides English? There's no "the" in that sentence, as you can see.

Thanks for your answer. But I was wondering if people say"Do you two take/share "the" sames classes together beside English?" In the case, is "the" article necessary to have?

Thanks,

If you use "same", you always have to use "the". Yes. It's "the same classes", "the same teacher", "the same interests", "the same color", ...
