Do u agree that people need various resources to get well informed

Some people think that one source is enough to get well informed on one specific issue. On the other hand others argue that the more sources you have, the better you can get informed. This argument seem pretty difficult in drawing quick conclusion. But as far as I concerned, I agree with the latter statement. Here are the several reasons below.



On top of that, people can get more reliable source on the topic. Mostly, there are more than a few reasons which are related to single event and thus it is impossible to find out the story behind the event with single resource. For example, I read an article about economic crisis and I thought I fully understood about that issue. After a couple of days, I finally realized that My knowledge is just one reason among the many of it on that issue because there were other explanations suggested in the economic magazine I bought by chance.



Secondly, depending on single source means that you have more possibility of having an one sided opinion. There are interesting research conducted by Harvard Univ. according to that research, most press doen't have balanced view upon the issues which means they could affect the reader to have distorted view on the event. So, people might be having problem to judge whether it is true or not.



In short, various news source have more details and thus it can help you to make a right judgement and to be a well informed person. In this regard, I agree with the idea that people should get infromation from various news sources..
