Do these two sentences mean the same?

I'll probably fly the coop next ten years.

I'll probably change to a new job next ten years.

No. The meaning is different.

They do not make sense as written. "Ten years" is the object of some missing preposition.

BUt what if I change them to :

In the next ten years, I'll probably fly the coop sometime.

In the next ten years, I'll probably change to a new job.

Fly the coop doesn't mean changing a new job? Is this what you meant?

Fly the coop means to leave home.

If you say "In the next ten years" you already mean "sometime." You don't need to add it to the end.

I thought they were the same, because yahoo's dictionary says they are.
