Do these two sentences make sense?


Fluvial terraces are landforms underlain by alluvial deposits and integrate tectonic and climatic processes at the watershed scale. Their geometry can be measured using LIDAR and Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating can provide ages of their abandonment and thus genesis.

"integrate" seems to be the wrong verb. "at the watershed scale" seems odd to me. "abandonment" also seems wrong.

"abandonment" also seems wrong. It suggests abandonment by humans, but I think that is not what you mean?
