Do these need any corrections, please

Hi teachers,

1) Can't you guys give the lady some space so that she could pass? (is it correct, teachers, to say 'so that she could pass'? Or should we say just 'to pass'?)
For example: Can't you guys give the lady some space to pass?

2) If you no longer want to spend your life with him, it's OK then, but could you bring the time back he has wasted for you? (or should I say,"Could the time, he has wasted for you, be regained?"?)

Thank you.

These are OK: Can't you guys give the lady some space so that she can pass? Can't you guys give the lady some space to pass? If you no longer want to spend your life with him, it's O K, but could you regain the time he has wasted for you?

Sir, thanks to you for your helpful reply!

And I'd like to ask you one or two more things please. Could you please tell me why it (so that she could pass) is wrong with 'could'? I think I have seen could with 'so that' somewhere, but I am afraid I don't remember where I've seen this.

Could you also tell me what the other options ar

Sir,

What is the difference between 'space' and 'room' ?

"Hey, don't enter the hall. There is no room (for you) to sit." Is it correct?
Can I use 'space' instead of 'room' here?

Thanks in Advance.

Because you used 'can' in the first part of the sentence.

No natural ones spring to mind.
