I'm looking for a better way to express this meaning do their best about it in the context:

Diversity of real needs and attitudes concerning priorities of their satisfaction is what enables win-win outcomes in the most difficult circumstances, if both parties do their best about it/make an effort to do it?

I'm also curious whether priorities of their satisfaction is OK?
