Do the pizzas

Hello everyone. I have a question.

Regarding the following passage:

We could go to that new Italian restaurant over on Main Street before the concert. I've heard they do the best pizzas, or would you rather go to the Indian place you love?

What does the "do" in the second sentence mean? Also, can we say that this usage of "do" is natural?
