Do The Electric Chair

You'll be doing the electric chair for the rest of the day.

Although I know this phrase 'get the electric chair', I don't see what 'do the electric chair' means. Could it be that 'get the electric chair' equals 'do the electric chair'? i.e., you'll face death by the electric chair.
