First of all, one of the most advantages of having English as a global language is that it will reduce the gap between the countries as there is no communication barrier. As a result, worldwide trade such as the importing and exporting of goods will increase and benefit the growth of economics around the globe. Moreover, English helps people travel all around the world without difficulties. Many tourists find it hard to communicate with the native people for their simple needs such as asking directions, ordering food,..These issues will be solved with international language. That’s why the advantages of having English as a global language make up for the disadvantages.

Secondly, the benefits of having this language will support people access to progressive education for higher studies. English is known as a passport to help people integrate into the new world. Speaking a common language in a foreign country helps humans in easily adapting in a new environment, as you can relatively easily make friends, learn about the culture, find a job, visit places. For instance, when you have an IELTS certificate, you can apply for a scholarship in foreign country, there are no obstacles to gain knowledge. Thus, pros of considering English as an international language keep you satisfied the cons of this.
