What's the difference between '' I bet you didn't come up with that name yourself" and '' I bet you didn't come up with that name BY yourself"

And also 'I did that myself'
'I did that by myself'

Either way you get the meaning 'without any help from others'. Still, I would leave out 'by' because 'by myself' can also mean 'alone', 'in solitude', and you don't mean that.
