Hello everyone,

Is either "do" or "take" correct in the following sentences?

Eg a. He'll take his final examination.

Eg b. He'll do his final examination.

It's rather idiomatic, depending on where you live. In Canada, I usually hear and say do , but take is also OK. Other possible terms include have and sit / sit for and write.

Yes, both words are used in that context in the UK. Sit is sometimes used instead but, that's mainly by teachers and others who work in education.
