Do or does?

"It is my (the speaker's) will/wish/offer/command that John do it."

I have heard this from a teacher here and I was wondering why do is used, not does? Is this another rule that we have to use with words, will / wish / offer / command. etc or is it just a misspelling? What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance.
