Do Not/Does Not

Dog collars and dog walking (do not/does not) have to be complicated.

I know "Dog collars do not have to be complicated" and "Dog walking does not have to be complicated" but what about when you join them?

Thanks!

Hi,

Together, they form a plural subject. Say 'do not have to be'.
