Do not take or do not consider

Hi,

please someone can correct me this sentence?

"lease do not consider my e-mail like a criticism or reprimand"

or

" please do not take my e-mail like a criticism or reprimand"

or possible to use the verb to see??

why " as " and not " like" ?

I thought in this context it is the same........ is it wrong at all ?

as is more formal - like is less formal.

I don't think like is wrong, as just sounds better.
