Do not leave the class..

Hi,
Is the paragraph correct?

Attend to the class. Do not ever leave the class before the bell ring. Listen carefully what the lecture said.

Top answer

No it's not quite correct. It should be: Attend the class. Do not leave the class before the bell rings (the ever is not needed).

AnonymousIt should be: Attend the class.

"attend to the class" means pay attention to the class, concentrate on the lesson. "attend the class" means turn up to the class, be present at the class.

From the context, it seems to me that you may want "attend to the class". Unfortunately, there is a risk of people misunderstanding this as an attempt
