Proficiency Tests & Test-taking

Do native speakers easily pass in verbal section of GRE Test?

Who have ever tested GRE before? I tested it last week and i think it's so difficult to me. I have never seen many vocaburaly in that test before.
English is my second languange so my English is rather bad. I understand well why i can't do it? But i just want to know is this part difficult to who are native speaker? Because i have heard that this test is for non-native speakers but i have never seen several words in my life whether on website or study time. Some friends told me some native speakers can't do that the same. I want to know the truth.
Sorry for my bad grammar and writing skills.
Sorry if this topic is in wrong place.
Thank you in advance.

The GRE is probably the highest level language challenge for native speakers. The tested vocabulary is indeed often recondite. Verbal & qualitative reasoning and analytical writing skills are skills that few native speakers really excel at, so the text can be immensely difficult for native speakers.

  • I passed the GRE in 1964 with a score of 790/720, but I doubt I could do so well on the refined examinations prepared nowadays.
