do me two things?

Hi,

I saw someone write "Would you please do me two things?" Does this sentence sound ok?

(I personally would say "would you please do two things for me?")

Thanks a lot.

In casual conversation, yes-- I have heard (and possibly said) 'do me two things'. For careful composition, I would use your suggestion, however.
