Do it as if...

Hi,

I am trying to understand the difference among these three sentences. Can somebody give a few examples of how a native speaker would use them?

1. Do it as if you are doing it for yourself.

2. Do it as if you were doing it for yourself.

3. Do it as you will do it for yourself.

Thanks.
