Do I omit this word or no?

Hello everyone, should the sentence be:

Light refracts off the bright pinks and purples onto the beige ceiling.

Or should it be:

Light refracts off the bright pinks and purples and onto the beige ceiling.

Do I take out the 'and' or do I include the 'and'?

I'm indifferent to the change. I've seen it written both ways. There is nothing grammatically wrong about either one.

Do you mean refracts or do you mean reflects?

Hey Clive, I wanted to depict the light shining on the 'bright pinks and purples' (such as fruits) and reflecting it off to the ceiling above. (If that makes sense?)
